2. What data we process and why

We process the data you provide in the proposal request form (name, company, email address, telephone number and the details of your event) or in the messages you send us by email, for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your request and prepare a proposal for your event.
  • To maintain the necessary communication if you decide to hire our services.

We do not use your data to send you marketing communications you have not requested, and we do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling.

The legal basis is your consent when you submit the form and the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request. If we enter into a contract, processing is also based on the performance of that contract. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

4. Retention

We keep request data for 24 months or for as long as a business relationship exists. After that, the data is blocked for the statutory limitation periods and, once these have expired, deleted.

5. Recipients and transfers

We do not share your data with third parties unless legally required to. We use providers acting as data processors, in particular Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and handles form submissions. Netlify may process data in the United States with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Like any hosting service, Netlify may record technical connection data, such as the IP address, in its server logs for security and operational purposes.

If your request requires the involvement of another MC Group company (for example, Be Events Barcelona for a company party), we will tell you before sharing your data with it.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to eventos@marcacondal.com and stating the right you wish to exercise. If you consider that we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).

7. Visitor measurement

This website does not currently use analytics tools or tracking cookies. If in future we introduce an analytics system that requires them, we will state it in this policy and in the cookie policy, and we will ask for your consent before activating it.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The entire website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
