The challenge
Leadership teams need to leave their usual meeting room every so often. An executive meeting away from the office is a chance to think calmly, take big decisions and strengthen the relationship between the people running the company.
Our client wanted an authentic, quiet setting with complete privacy and a programme that alternated work, physical activity and rest. The venue had to support productive meetings during the day and more relaxed moments at the end of it, with no transfers.
What we did
- Venue. The meeting took place at a masia in the Les Gavarres hills, a protected natural area between the Baix Empordà and Gironès districts, surrounded by woodland with open views over the landscape.
- Working sessions. We prepared the indoor spaces of the masia for the leadership team's meetings, with privacy and no distractions.
- Sport in nature. We included a bike route along local trails as an active break between working blocks.
- Team activities. We scheduled group sessions designed for a leadership team, focused on collaboration.
- Wellbeing. We rounded off the programme with spa and wellness experiences.
- Food. We coordinated lunches and dinners at tables set on the terrace and in the masia's dining rooms, cocktails at the end of the day and a few surprises planned for the group.
The result
The leadership team enjoyed an off-site that combined work, nature and rest in a private setting, with a balanced programme and food to match. A format that makes room for the conversations that do not fit into a weekly meeting.
