The challenge
At Paradigms, Frontify brings together brand, design and marketing professionals to discuss where branding is heading. For the Barcelona edition in September 2022 it needed something consistent with its audience: an event with serious content, a polished look and an atmosphere that made people want to stay and talk.
A brand conference sets a high bar. Attendees work with visual identity every day and notice everything: stage, signage, the pace of sessions, the breaks. The content also had to be filmed for later use, which meant coordinating audiovisual production with the live programme.
What we did
- Stage and plenary. We produced the main stage with screen, lighting and sound for the talks, with staging aligned with the Paradigms identity.
- Panels and conversations. We set up panel formats with sofas and a moderator, more intimate than a classic keynote.
- Content filming. We built video and photo crews into the room plan to film interviews and sessions without disturbing the audience.
- Outdoor spaces. We used the venue's courtyards and open-air areas for breaks, lunches and networking, with standing catering so people could eat and keep talking.
- Two days, one run of show. We coordinated timings, suppliers and floor staff across both days.
The result
Frontify held two intensive days of branding content in Barcelona, with leading speakers from the sector, a format that alternated stage, panels and informal conversations, and audiovisual material filmed for its future communications.
Paradigms is a good example of a brand conference: a mid-sized event where the attendee experience matters as much as the programme. If you are organising a meeting of this kind, see our congress organisation page and, for a more compact format for your team or clients, meetings and seminars. For product presentations with content and a stage, see product launches as well.
