What kind of events does Sant Pau suit?

Sant Pau combines something unusual in Barcelona: modernista heritage and rooms ready for work. It suits mid-sized scientific and medical congresses, corporate conferences with a plenary and workshops, leadership meetings and seminars and gala dinners for 100 to 300 guests. It is also a good venue for product launches that want a setting with character, without the size of a convention centre.

Getting there

The entrance is at Sant Antoni Maria Claret, 167. Sant Pau | Dos de Maig metro (L5) and several bus lines (H8, 19, 47, 117, 192). The Sagrada Família is about ten minutes' walk along Avinguda de Gaudí, a stroll many groups enjoy between sessions.

Production tips

Internal distances. The pavilions are separate and connected through the gardens or underground galleries. Signpost well and allow time for room changes.
Outside visiting hours. Some spaces, such as the Sala Domènech i Montaner, are used outside tourist hours. Fit the running order to those slots.
Listed building. Set-ups must respect decorative features and load limits. The Pau Gil auditorium has adaptable furniture, which simplifies format changes.
Gardens. For outdoor drinks, always define an indoor plan B.

What works well nearby

Five minutes away is the Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm, a good option for a party or informal dinner. For dinners on Passeig de Gràcia, La Pedrera and Casa Batlló complete a modernista programme.

The Sala Hipòstila (465 m²) holds 230 people for a banquet and 300 for drinks. For smaller groups, the Sala 1902 seats 90 for a banquet and the Sala Domènech i Montaner 120.
