The challenge
Kave Home, a furniture and home décor brand based in Tordera, was turning 40 and wanted to celebrate at home: in its own factory. It is a meaningful choice for an anniversary, because it puts the place where the team works at the centre. From a production point of view, it is also one of the most complex.
A working factory is not an events venue. There is machinery, shift patterns, safety rules and daily logistics that cannot stop. The challenge was to stage an event for the whole workforce without disrupting operations and while respecting every restriction on site.
What we did
- Planning with operations. We worked with the factory managers on set-up and break-down times, free areas, routes and safety rules, around machinery and shifts.
- Plenary in the warehouse. We installed seating, stage and screens among the warehouse racking, using the scale of the space as the set.
- Welcome and signage. We prepared the team's arrival with anniversary signage and clear directions for taking seats and moving around the building.
- Speeches and emotional moments. We produced the leadership team's speeches and content, with lighting, sound and technical control.
- Food experience and music. After the formal part, the factory became a place to celebrate with food and live music.
- Floor staff. A briefing beforehand with support staff to manage access, flows and service.
The result
Kave Home celebrated its 40 years with the whole workforce gathered in the place that best represents its history, with a formal part and a celebration clearly separated. The event adapted to the factory's activity and its safety rules.
