What kind of events does Espacio IMO suit?
It is a very complete venue for meetings and seminars of 50 to 300 people, and especially for medical congresses and courses: the auditorium has a live link to the institute's operating theatres. It also works for technology conferences, annual client meetings and presentations that need a well-equipped auditorium without the scale of a convention centre. Here we produced the Gurobi meeting, with plenaries, panels and breaks on the terrace.

The whole venue covers 1,400 m². The auditorium has Full HD projection with a 12,000-lumen projector, a 6 x 4 m screen and an AV control booth. Seminario 2 opens onto the foyer through two sliding doors and can serve as a catering office or cloakroom. Source: the official Espacio IMO page.
Getting there
Carrer de Josep Maria Lladó, 3, next to the Ronda de Dalt ring road, in uptown Barcelona. The big advantage is parking: two floors for attendees. For groups staying in the centre, we arrange shuttles from the hotels.
Production tips
- Sponsor exhibition. The foyer takes more than ten stands with direct access to the garden. Put the coffee there so sponsors get footfall.
- Live surgery. If your congress needs it, coordinate the connection protocol and timings with the institute well in advance.
- External catering. As it is optional, you can choose the supplier. Use Seminario 2 as a catering office if the service is long.
- Wifi on request. Ask for it when booking if your event uses an app, live voting or streaming.
