What kind of events does Llotja de Mar suit?
It is one of the buildings with the richest commercial history in the city, and that connects very well with corporate events. We use it mainly for gala dinners, welcome receptions for congresses and client drinks during major trade shows such as ISE or MWC. For trade show events it has a clear advantage: it is right in the centre, away from the exhibition grounds, and gets guests to "step out" of the show. Here we have produced Logitech's events during ISE in 2022 and 2025, the Greentech gala dinner and the welcome event of the WSEI congress.

Getting there
It is on Passeig d'Isabel II, opposite Pla de Palau. The nearest metro is Barceloneta (L4). Coaches can stop around Pla de Palau, although staggered arrivals should be coordinated so as not to block the street.
Production tips
- Combine floors. A format that works for us: welcome in the courtyard, dinner in the Saló de Contractacions and a lounge or after-party area in another room.
- Mind the acoustics. The Gothic vaults reverberate. With speeches or live music, plan the sound system and number of speakers carefully.
- Listed building. Any fixing, load or structure must be approved by the Cambra. We sort this out on the technical site visit.
- Trade show weeks. During ISE and MWC demand soars. If that is your date, place an option months in advance.
What works well nearby
A few minutes' walk away are the Drassanes Reials, which we used as the second venue at the WSEI congress, and El Born Centre de Cultura for larger formats. For working meetings during the day, the World Trade Center Barcelona is on the same waterfront.
