ICE, the world's largest gaming industry trade show, opens Barcelona's calendar at Fira Gran Via from 18 to 20 January 2027. January is low season in Barcelona, but ICE week is not: thousands of visitors are in town at once and the most sought-after venues go early.

ICE, the week that opens the year at Fira Barcelona
ICE is the world's largest trade show for the gaming and betting industry. After decades in London, Clarion Gaming moved it to Barcelona in 2025, together with iGB Affiliate. In 2026 the two shows brought together 62,988 professionals from 162 countries, the highest figure in their history.
The audience is very international and very commercial: operators, technology and content suppliers, affiliates, payment providers and regulators. Much of the business happens away from the stand, at dinners, receptions and meetings throughout the week.

January in Barcelona
January is low season in the city, but not during ICE week: thousands of visitors stay near Gran Via, around Plaça d'Espanya and in the city centre at the same time. We recommend securing the venue and room block 9 to 12 months ahead. Evenings are cool, so we favour indoor venues with character, such as Fàbrica Moritz or Llotja de Mar, and terraces with heaters and a plan B.
Our experience at Fira Barcelona shows
ICE is new to Barcelona. We have been producing Logitech and Microsoft's events during ISE since 2022: at Llotja de Mar, Fàbrica Moritz, the Hivernacle and Xalet de Montjuïc. We have also run VIP events for Yealink and Microsoft and dinners for Greentech and Provital during In-Cosmetics Global. The audience, the logistics and the pace of the week are very similar to ICE.
